How Renting Through This Line Works

One phone call reaches one of our local portable restroom providers. This page explains what to prepare, what your rental contact sets and what to get in writing.

Before you call

Have the street address and locality, delivery/use/pickup dates, peak crew or guest count, existing restrooms, proposed ground surface and a service-truck route. Note locked gates, tight turns, low branches and the need for an accessible unit, hand washing or a trailer. For an event, note its hours and when fixed venue restrooms will be open. For a job site, note the largest shift and whether workers already have toilets and washing facilities. These details let your rental contact recommend a practical unit count rather than guessing from the event name or town.

Check the proposed spot

Ask the owner or venue who controls the ground. A private lot can still have association or lease conditions. A Richmond street or alley, a VDOT shoulder or public park has a separate approval path; use the placement guide to identify the responsible office. Mark the possible spot on a sketch, including the door landing, service-truck stop and route for an accessible unit if needed. The authority approves the position; your rental contact checks the delivery and service route to it.

On the call

Your call goes to one of our local portable restroom companies. Give the exact location rather than only the neighborhood. Your rental contact goes over the unit types, recommends a count and asks about access and servicing. Ask how the recommended count changes if attendance rises, a shift is added, heat increases use or the existing restrooms close. For a food event, describe the vendor layout so the hand-wash choice can be discussed separately from toilet count.

Before accepting the quote

Ask your rental contact to put the units, exact model features, delivery and pickup windows, visit frequency, supplies, price, extra-visit or move charges, and a service contact in writing. Check whether the quote covers setup on the approved surface, how a problem visit is requested and what happens when dates change. The organizer or employer remains responsible for applicable permits and sanitation or accessibility duties. The event unit page and job-site requirements help frame those questions; the responsible authority decides what is required.

During and after the rental

Use the service contact in your rental agreement to report a full, damaged, tipped or blocked unit. Keep the truck route clear for every visit and pickup. If dates or placement change, tell your rental contact early and request revised terms. The unit should not be moved with site equipment. At pickup, clear anything stored beside it and check the agreement for damage or cleaning terms. Keep the agreement and any placement approval with the event or project records so the same contact can resolve a later billing question.

Ready with the address and the dates? Call, and one of our local portable restroom partners takes it from there.
